What's the difference?
Diorama illusion stems from diorama and somewhere back in the 1800s, every artist including visual artist wants to create art that resembles real life. They are into realism and they work their way through countless hours throughout their career. Yes, then visual artists are held in high esteem and they live by their passion.
Remember Van Gogh? He is a legend today and when you type 'van' in google search, the instant search bar will automatically list his name among the top entries. He was someone who did not sell an art piece, except to his brother who supported him in his dreams and of course bread and butter. Van Gogh had nothing to do with Diorama, not any i know of, but there's a similarity. The passion, the dream and the perseverance.
Diorama illusion is somehow in collision with the word Diorama because in the past they seek realism and now, hobbyists of miniature faking aka diorama illusion seeks the opposite way, trying to create the illusion of 'real life' miniatures.
